Electrohome

OK, so the bio for the Men of Easy Company is bullion. Electrohome isn't a "side project".

Robert Eisenbraun is Electrohome, and no doubt about it. Guitars, drums, marimba, ocarina, keyboard, voices, harmonica, recording, mixing, "mastering", pencil, chalk, paint brush, ceramics, digital line art, graphic design, and everything else involved in these albums are done by Rob (though this is a pretty good list of everything--officially; his fiance helps uncredited and unwillingly here and there).

Bobby's been at the music biz since 2004, when he first started writing songs and learning guitar. Technically he's ten years of percussion lessons and six years of singing in the church choir, but it doesn't always show when it should, and sometimes shows when it shouldn't.

If you ask him a weird question he'll probably give you a weird answer. But at this particular time when he was asked, he said he's not tied to a single sound, and his strength isn't his technical quality. His chops. Robby hopes that his strength is in his perception of the Good, philosophically speaking. The particular sound he has is a result of convenience and coincidence, not because he's opposed to sounding otherwise. Jack-of-all-trades and master of none, Bert can only hope to overcome his musical and lyrical inability with well-produced, insightful-though-hard-to-understand-and-intensely-colloquial songs.

Bob runs an open mike every 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month, 9:30-10:30pm, in North Park University's Java Haus, in Chicago, where on any given evening you may find Robert and Joel Schuman playing impromptu performances.
