Robert “Electrohome” Eisenbraun has been promoting local music since January of 2005. Almost everything produced is recorded or designed in-house by the man, with a handful of other artists involved.

This isn’t really a music label. Labels have money. It’s more like a workhouse to help artists produce artwork than it is a record label. By both intention and consequence it’s trying to produce good art not “just as a hobby” (it’s more valuable than that) and not to make money (because that’s unreasonable), but because the creation of good artwork and the byproducts of creation are virtuous pursuits in themselves.

How we became famous, and other lies:

Robert played in his brother Joe‘s band back in 2004. He recorded his friend Nathanael Yarbrough (Me & Jane) and then began recording his own faltering skilz under the moniker Electrohome. He released three albums before busing up to Chicago for college, where he bought some new talent for the brand. Electrohome became the Men of Easy Company. Everyone everywhere has been famous ever since.

Ben Bruckner joined and Joel Schuman’s Project Stinkeye is the most recent addition. Joe Davis is now a missionary in Sweden and Ben went to China. Then, according to tradition, Joel joined a different band and moved to Seattle! All you can do is laugh. Ho ho ho. The label is back to 1.

Robert is available for projects around Chicago.

If you have time, look up a few of our friends: Joe Eisenbraun, Families, Signature Groove, Jonas Friddle.

We don’t charge for our releases online and only cover costs for the physical material of albums, so we always lose money and time to get our music to our audience.
